Een mooi appartement in Sultanhamet

Great location in old Istanbul with 5 min walk to Grand Bazaar or the seafront and seafood restaurants. Adar is a great host who goes the extra mile and ensures that you are familiar with the local surroundings and best spots to frequent. The apt was well set up and had everything we needed for our time there. Thanks Adar for making Istanbul a memorable holiday.

Aangegeven adres bleek een ander te zijn. (er t/o gelegen in de straat)Appartement was nog niet helemaal klaar voor bewoning. Aantal zaken waren niet aangesloten, zoals afzuigkap, magnetron en geen warm water en eenvoudig klein kookplaatje. Verhuurder Adar was enorm gastvrij en had van alles neergezet voor ons (zoals fruit en frisdranken) We moesten met hem gaan eten, Bij weggaan had hij kleine kadootjes aan de deur gehangen. Kortom bizonder vriendelijk en gastvrij.

Adar was very friendly and he took us out for dinner one evening, the flat is in Kumkapi which is near to Sultanahmet. The bedroom was nice and there was a good mattress on the bed and we slept well. Adar said he was going to get a new shower and that would be a good idea and it would be nice to have hot water in the kitchen sink as well. There was plenty of towells and some bottles of drink for us in the fridgel when we arrived which was nice but a big problem was that we had no internet and i did need this for my business.But for the price that we paid we found it very fair indeed! a good idea would be to ask Adar to book a car for transport to / from the Airport as he can get you a good one!

het appartement bestaat uit een eetkeuken, een slaapkamer en een badkamer incl wc. Alls bij elkaar plm 30 m2. Het is vlgs mij niet geschikt voor meer dan 2 personen. Het is zeer basic uitgerust. Het tweepersoonsbed is een erg harde boxspring. Er is een electrisch kacheltje, hadden we wel nodig. Televisie deed t niet. We hebben op verzoek een lichtje bij het bed gekregen, hoop dat dat inmiddels wel werkt. Het appt ligt op de eerste verdieping aan een donker straatje dat uit trappen bestaat, dus niet handig voor minder mobiele mensen. Er is geen balkon oid. Het buurtje is oud maar in de zomer vast wel gezellig: bakker, groenteman koffiehuis enz om de hoek.De gastheer is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam, hoewel wat inefficient (kost tijd) Alles bij elkaar heel basaal en misschien is er meer waar voor je geld te krijgen.

Très bon accueil de la part d'Adar. L 'appartement est très fonctionnel et bien placé à moins de 10minutes à pied de Sultanahmet. On a été très satisfaite de notre séjour .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Istanbul.Thankyou Adar for making our stay so pleasant and for the superb meal. We quickly got to grips with how to get around and will definitely be returning to Sultanahmet and visiting Adar again Win and Keith. X

Plus qu'un hotte, Adar a été pour nous un guide, il nous a fait découvrir des "secrets places", des resto typiques, et a été de très bon conseil. Nous nous sommes senti en confiance et en sécurité. L'appart est bien situé en plein cœur du quartier très animé des chausseurs. Pas un grand confort mais propre et bien insonorisé. Nous avons passé 5jours fantastiques qui nous ont donnés envie de revenir vite dans cette superbe ville d'Istanbul et je reviendrai chez Adar sans problème.

Das Buchungssystem finden wir sehr interressant, die Kommunikation hat gut geklappt. Mr. Adar war ein sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Die Altstadt von Sultanahmed haben wir sehr anregend gefunden.

Terribly disappointing - especially given the previous positive reviews. Very run down apartment. Booked a week but stayed one night. No sheets (they hadnt arrived!), no internet (the shared connection with the neighbour had been moved and no longer worked), stale and mouldy leftovers in the fridge (from previous guests?), a primitive bathroom (no functioning light when I arrived, a shower head in the middle of the room so the whole bathroom floor became a slippery wet falls hazard - no mop to dry the floor either) - even the TV did not work - not that that was important!..... I had also specified that I was travelling with a disabled person who couldnt walk far... the apartment was >300 metres down a very steep gradient away from public transport.... on a stepped street so no taxi could drive to. The host away on holidays. Left after one night. Found a family run hotel by the sea nearby, 20 metres from the train (two stops from the Topkapi palace, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque), with full breakfast overlooking the sea and everything in clean, working order (the family couldnt help us enough)... for half the cost. Could not recommend Old City Sultanahmet.

Devo dire la verità che sono stato molto bene. La casa è centralissima ed è vicina a tutto. Adar è una cosi gentile e disponibile. Lo consiglio a tutti coloro vogliono andare ad scoprire la stupenda Istanbul.
